50% off select mounts, and Mount Lab

Oh, great. 50% off the mounts I haven't been wanting, though the Seraph Wings look okay with my armor. I know that you wizards were all about the pegasi.
I also like that there was a little bit o' everything for sale. A couple large animals, wings, and a broom.
Speaking of mounts, I was thinking of undergoing some research (being too stubborn to look it up myself). I was wondering how my mounts would affect my percentage of getting caught in battle. I have two types of mounts.( Broom, Bone Dragon) I was always careful about not using my dragon in Mooshu, with fear of its wings stretching out too far, and getting me caught. I was wondering if it even made a difference.
In honor of me beginning science experiments in class for this year, here is my 'Mount Lab'

Hypothesis: If I use my Bone Dragon mount in a place with no sidewalks, (Marleybone, Mooshu, Grizzleheim) then my treasure cards used will increase per 500 steps, compared to the horned sweeper and the control group.

Procedure For Broom Run:
  1. Equip Horned Sweeper at the beginning of Hametsu Village, on a normal realm. Have 0-pip treasure cards in TC deck.
  2. Fly for 500 steps (watch Quest Tracker) on the right side of the road.
  3. When/If caught in Battle, use a 0-pip TC once and finish the battle as usual. If defeated, start lab over.
  4. Count Treasure cards (which should only be 0 pip) at the end of the route.
  5. Repeat for Perfect, and Crowded realms.
  6. Repeat for Savarstaad Pass, and Knight's Court

Procedure for Dragon Run:
  1. Equip Bone Dragon at the beginning of Hametsu Village, on a normal realm. Have 0-pip treasure cards in TC deck.
  2. Fly for 500 steps (watch Quest Tracker) on the right side of the road.
  3. When/If caught in Battle, use a 0-pip TC once and finish the battle as usual. If defeated, start procedure over.
  4. Count Treasure cards (which should only be 0 pip) at the end of the route.
  5. Repeat for Perfect, and Crowded realms.
  6. Repeat for Savarstaad Pass, and Knight's Court
Procedure for No mount (Control)

  1. Unequip mount at the beginning of Hametsu Village, on a normal realm. Have 0-pip treasure cards in TC deck.
  2. Walk for 500 steps (watch Quest Tracker) on the right side of the road.
  • Always replenish TCs after procedure
  • Always use Quest Tracker
  • Never split work between friends
  • Always use right side of Paths
  • NEVER USE TELEPORTER STONES
  • No boots of comet

Please do not comment the finished experiment by someone else, I am really stubborn.

  2. Luke,
Comment received. I was wondering if my 'box' would increase in size depending on the mount. Your comment was very useful.

    Paige,
Thanks you for your comment. I think I'll need some coffee as well as luck, as this experiment will be lengthy.
